
The City of Rancho Palos Verdes is exploring options for using the iconic "Bubbles" statue from the entrance to Marineland of the Pacific as an marquee for the city. The statue has been in the city's maintenance yard since the marine attraction closed in 1987 and needs restoration.
Plans are being worked out to install the statue near the Pt. Vicente Interpretive Center along Palos Verdes Drive South.
