The September First Thursday Art Walk comes early in the month, on the second. And it will include free performances.
Beginning at 6 p.m., Dave Widow and Mike Watt will perform, along with the Second Men. There’s also going to be a free photo booth. It takes place at the northeast corner of 6th and Mesa Streets.
At 7:30 p.m., Collage: A Place for Art and Culture will present Mariano LaSpisa on the vibraphone with Shannon Kauble singing. They play a mix of standards, showtimes, and Latin jazz arranged for vibraphone and voice. Poet Vincent Lowry will also read a few selections from his book.
Collage is at 731 S. Pacific Avenue in Uptown San Pedro.
Start your First Thursday at the San Pedro Visitor Center, 479 W. 6th Street in the Arcade Building, directly across from the Warner Grand Theatre.
