Filipina Transnational Feminism on Facebook Live

Philippine Expressions Bookshop will celebrate its 25th year with Virtual Book Talks scheduled on three different dates: Monday, March 8, Friday, March 19, and Friday, March 26.

The Monday, March 8 talk will pay tribute to the brave women of the Philippines who crossed the vast Pacific Ocean to find their place in the sun in America. Three scholars and authors who also happen to be blood sisters: Celine Parreñas Shimizu, Ph.D., Rhacel Salazar Parreñas, Ph.D., and Juno Salazar Parreñas, Ph.D. will share their thoughts on Filipina Transnational Feminism.
